K-Com: E-learning as E-Commerce

E-learning is currently considered to be the next big market; however learning is not clearly defined in the aspect of what actually happens with the learner when learning. The E-learning environments today haven't reached the interactive level. Many of the courses available to the public are in most cases passive. There are not many opportunities to explore what-if scenarios the way on-line courses are made today. In this paper we try to take a look at E-learning from perspectives: the virtual room and the learning process in itself. The virtual room is also seen as a stage for social interaction, which is a very important, and often underestimated, part of a learning experience.
