8th World Congress on Science and Football 2015

The 8th World Congress on Science and Football 2015 was a multidisciplinary congress focusing on five codes of football: Soccer, Rugby, and Australian, American and Gaelic Football.

The congress gathered international scientists from the natural, human and social sciences, as well as practitioners, and the newest research results, methodologies and applied approaches were highlighted. Knowledge was exchanged and dialogues on both mono- and multidisciplinary aspects of football were in focus in the congress program that included: Plenary sessions, Invited symposia, Oral and poster presentations, Workshops and Social events.

The Scientific and Organizing Committee are very content with the congress, and expressed gratitude towards all participants. Thanks to the 500 participants from more than 40 different countries who all contributed to making the congress a success, and thanks to collaboration partners, sponsors and exhibitors.
