The section conducts multi-disciplinary research aiming at preventing and treating obesity and related lifestyle diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
The section conducts research to understand how diet, foods, bioactive substances, medical aids and products, as well as lifestyle factors such as physical activity, sleep and stress are related to obesity, and how they can be manipulated to prevent and treat obesity.
